About This Business:
My love for more natural products started with the birth of my first child, who has eczema. I was not fond of the idea of steroid cream on my baby, so I had to find more natural ways to clear up his eczema. That was the birth of me making my own body products.
Making candles has long been a hobby of mine. I’d often make them as gifts for different events. Though I’ve now added in pouring my own concrete vessels to use in my candle making process.
Earlier this year, I decided to start selling my creations. And so, during a break from working as a nurse, Melt/Slather was born.
Why should consumers work with you?
Not only are the candles hand poured, but the candle vessels are individually handcrafted and unique. Our body products are all handmade in small batches.
